Off order and packaging are often related! On the one hand, packaging should protect the content, but on the other hand, the packaging itself can potentially cause an off-aroma. We measure aroma, off-aroma and off-order in food and packaging. The data is then used either for failure and problem analysis or for routine quality control. We have developed our own specialized methods based on a detailed chemical analysis and a sophisticated statistical pattern recognition analysis.
